For those looking for Halloween activities in the Lafayette area for your younger children, here are a few to check out.
Boo at the Zoo, Columbia Park Zoo
This “hauntingly-friendly” event is perfect for your pre-school and elementary school-aged children.
Oct. 26, 27 and 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tickets are $8 per person at the gate or $6 if you buy tickets in advance. Tickets are on sale now at Arni’s, Once Upon a Child, Purdue Federal Credit Union and Shoe Carnival.
Operation Trick or Treat, Downtown Lafayette
This family-friendly event has downtown businesses passing out treats and interacting with visitors. Kids can Trick or Treat down Main Street from 11th down to Riehle Plaza. The event will end with a costume contest taking place at 6:30 pm.

Halloween Monster Mash
Join the Young Actor’s Troupe for a wholesome Halloween performance and party. Kids (and adults) come to the party in costume. Picture station will be available. Please bring your own camera. There will be a costume parade, judging, and games. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult over the age of 18.
